Auto Power Off

Haha .. too funny. I was just talking to one of my friends as to why he likes his Uniden 436HP over the WS1080 .. the sleep timer / auto power off. This is the only good thing he had to say about the 436 though. The 1080 is his go to scanner though.

For me .. not a big item but I would welcome it. However the display of the radio id during audio playback is at the top of my personal list.

Who is this guy ? The new WPMan for Whistler?

You had a lot of us messing around with the possibility of bricking our scanners for your so called Whistle-Shack mod of the Pro-668. At this point you have no credibility.

I'll wait for an official update from DonS or Whistler unless you can prove otherwise.

Not a pro 668 owner but possible future whistler owner. What modification or firmware update was the issue of bricking? I ask as down road I may stumble across said pro 668 and knowing me mods is a grabber I get into. Nice avatar by the way.
