I use animated avatars, and when I sign in they work fine, but after a while the animation stops working. Have you ever heard of this problem? Obviously it's not a major disaster, but I was just curious.

But seriously... everything seems fine...after how long does it take to stop?

I've never noticed the maple leaf stop spinning for my avatar.

IOU five minutes. Thanks for you post. It's wierd, I changed to a different avatar this morning, and it has been working fine. I change it approx. weekly, and this is the first one that keeps animating.

I am still checking out some sites. I just did a search of "animation" or "animated gifs" - I forgot exactly what I entered. I don't know how to insert a link into this post, but here is one good one.
animatedgif.net- NOTE that they must fit the requirements ?8mb and 100x100 pixel. Have fun!
