I am hoping someone can help me with the Avon radio plan for Fire/EMS. I can not find where they get paged on or use for operations. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!

I believe they are dispatched on Monmouth County South Paging (155.175), EMS responds in on Monmouth County EMS South Response (Monmouth County 700mhz trunked radio system), FD responds in on Monmouth County South Response (VHF) but I could be wrong.

Ah ok. I had 159.180 but never hear anything on it. Figured I would at least hear pager tones drop for a nightly test. I’ll have to try South paging.

As mentioned by JMR, they are currently toned out via county via the VHF noted. Pretty sure 159.180 is no longer used or could be reserved for secondary purposes (?)

Maybe someone can confirm if 159.1800 is still in their radio lineup?

I don't see 159.180 listed for them on the database. I see 154.310 which may be their fireground.

Good point, my bad. I was thinking of Neptune City FD which did use 159.180. But the same question basically remains but we should include 154.310 in the mix with 159.180. Are these legacy VHF channels still being used in some fashion?

I hear the old West Long Branch fire being repurposed for school bus operations.
