Is it just me or are federal freqs hard to look up? Anyway, looking for AZ BLM fire freqs. Help appreciated.

TIA

My question is: Is it accurate?

A couple years ago (2020), here in Nevada, one of our agencies accidentally released the freq chart for their radios. The chart included freqs for BLM and NPS in Arizona.

Obviously its not 100% as NPS changed their freqs this year but, BLM still appears to be accurate and its a little different from the list here. For example, the official doc shows Tac 01 as 166.5000 while RR shows it as 168.2750 and Tac 02 as 166.9625 while RR shows it as 170.0250.

I should note, 166.9625 C192.8 was active a few minutes ago with the morning fire weather forecast. The official doc does not show a tone for Tac 02 so theyve either added a tone to it or theyve really changed things around and its now a repeater somewhere.

This information is related to Arizona.....I can confirm that the RR Frequencies for BLM TAC1 and TAC2 are correct and there is no tone on them. Nevada may be different though it shouldn't be.

USFS Potosi extension was listed in a 205 in 2020 as using 166.9625 192.8 - simplex
which was a different channel/use from Tac-02 being CSQ
