Upgraded the radio rack with twin 7" monitors running flightradar24 and marinetraffic
Can you go into more detail on the 7" inch monitors? What PC is running them? and how did you get them mounted like that? It looks like the monitors are part of the faceplate. I would love to mount a small monitor for ADSB Exchange or whatever else I use for air traffic.

@blueknight05 great set up, I have the same rack with few scanners. would you please provide more photos of the inside and the face panels source?
The face panels are from Alberta Radio Supply, you can order from their website, but they also have a store on Ebay and their a little cheaper, This is the rack I'm using.........https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LZV9IK1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yes they are Alberta Radio Supply face panels, they have a store on Ebay that are a little cheaper then buying them from their website. This is the rack that I'm using........https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LZV9IK1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That is a GREAT Idea on the 7" monitors "in the rack". My secondary PC that runs my Broadcastify feed is in a closet for lack of desktop space. Now I can bring it out to the shack, and what about that very narrow keyboard in front of the rack? Is that a built-in mouse trackpad on it? Love that too. Can't find that online though, source? This is why I love RR for ideas. (y) :)

It's an old Logitech K400 keyboard, here is their newer version K400........https://www.logitech.com/en-us/products/keyboards/k400-plus-touchpad-keyboard.920-007119.html?crid=27

I really like the way you integrated two monitors. Can you please tell us what they are and where you got them. I have a feeling I'll "need" to add some to my monitoring setup.

@blueknight05 thanks for the reply. I'm quite surprised about the face panels prices. it's $99 !! while scanmaster has the same for $79 yet, it's not justifiable when a regular 2U rack panel is for $15-$25 and a tray is for $25-$30 :)

DO NOT use the Scanner Master Panels. SUCK They are not powder coated and you have to use a DIN Sleeve. I sent mine back. Colin's Panels are great work and if you need something custom he can make it.

I actually just put an order in through eBay for the Alberta Radio Supply panels. Was looking at 3 panels with speakers, two with free shipping. Sent an invoice request asking if they could combine the shipping for all three to save a few dollars, and they not only did that but also threw on a C$20 discount too. Very pleased so far, and I haven't even received them.

I like the rack setup, nice and clean.
Most of my SWL listening post is racked. I could use another 17" high URR cabinet though.

Well, I made another change and I think I'll keep this one. After using the 7" monitors, I found that they were way to small to use as PC monitors, at least for me.......lol. So I swapped them out for two 10.1" monitors. I liked the nice clean look of the 7" monitors compared to the way the 10" monitors are but it still looks good and it was cheaper.....

How are those new monitors mounted? I'm looking to do... something... with my desk, and that looks nice, so I'm just curious about the mounting solution you have here.

They're mounted to a 2U blank rack panel using these tilting Vesa mounts from Amazon.......https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007Y4TUMY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Do you hear many people on zello any more these days, I pop on every now and again and I hardly hear anyone either that or have the groups I had in there are now closed.
