I am new to the forums, but have been watching/listening to RR for a little over a year.

Does anyone know why the Bastrop County Texas online scanner is offline (it has been all day).

With two fires that we know of yesterday, it's so hard to not know anything.

Thanks,

Lisa

Thanks.

What's odd is that just yesterday I decided to become a paid supporter, as a way to show my gratitude for being able to have a "heads up" when things are not right.

Two days now... no feed.....sigh.

I've learned a lot about this site, which is pretty cool.... but I 'sure' miss hearing what's going on out here.

Again, thanks for responding.

Lisa,

If you are on face book or twitter friend or follow Bastrop County Office of Emergency Management. They have been sending notices when events occur.

This is precisely the reason I went through RR, as BCOEM did not post a single word on their site, which is odd, considering how much smoke people saw.

Hopefully someone will either repair, or pick up the feed (again, being new to this lingo, I do want to disrespect anyone because I realize there are problems that cannot be controlled and the feed may just be down due to technical problems).

Thanks for posting your thoughts, please know it is appreciated.

Sincerely,
