SDS100/SDS200: Battery Clip Replacement

I saw an earlier thread on this that has since been closed. Does anyone know if the replacement clips for the battery door are still being sold? Thanks in advance.

I think the special one that is 3D printed by RR forum member @jonwienke aka "Uniden Scanner Mods and Accessories" is not taking new orders/repairs at this time.

I think some forum members have had luck asking for the part from Uniden and I do see that there are some options on eBay as well but I can't attest to these. In a pinch, I think someone here on RR was able to fashion a binder clip to work as well.

Assuming the SDS100 since it's the only scanner in Uniden's line (AFAIK) to utilize a clip

Try ebay. Carbon fiber battery clip or Battery clip I have not used these so not sure how well they work. There are others.

bartscannerparts on ebay.2 pack for $18. These are carbon fiber and they are strong. Still using first one and shows no sign of breaking

BCD 325 P2 has a clip also.

The BCD325P2 has a belt clip, not a battery clip. The battery cover slides on and off.
