I was wondering if there is a battery factory preset voltage setting that either turns off the scanner or allows the low voltage beep and icon to flash. I know a setting can be changed for low voltage. If so, what would be a good setting to give me the most out of the battery?

Thanks for the help. The info states the setting range is 3100 to 3400 and the default is 3300. I have not touched the settings and my scanner is set at 3500. Interesting.

So if I set the voltage to, let's say, 3200 will the scanner operate for a longer time before the alert sounds. (That's assuming the battery is at full charge)

Thanks

Scanner will always turn off at the same battery voltage. You only set the warning beeps voltage. A high value will warn when there's a couple of hours left of battery life and setting the voltage to the lowest setting will only let the scanner work for 10-20 minutes after the warning beep are heard.
