question in the bay area from sac and other areas there are variious places that use motorola type ll. My question is can I put all the trunk freqs and then groups id's in one system together or do I have to build a different system for each county etc. I use ARC246 sortware. and a BC246T scanner. Thanx for any help ahead of time. :( :(

The 246 is set up to put them all in different systems. It works much better that way.

So, create a new system for each of the trunked systems, and you'll do just fine. I dunno if it'll even let you put a whole bunch of different trunked systems' freqs in one single system and then still work.

I have all of Sacramento done in ARC246.

Isn't the whole idea of the 246 that it's not limited to banks anymore? I thought that was why they made it "dynamically programmable". So since you are no longer limited to say ten banks, why would you WANT to pack all those systems together?
