Loaded zip file and got zip. When this is able to be moved to Favorites from Sentinel, I will download it to see if a screwed up, which is very possibly. I am tired of monkeying with this system's guts. I am the field observer of talk groups. This will be my new role, once it works on my radio.

Today, Baylor is playing Texas Tech at McLane Stadium. I have sitting here waiting on the DMR talk groups to show up; however, they are not there. I am seeing the usual Interop Event talk groups. I don't know why this does not work. I waited until this was in the RR DB. I moved this system to my Favorites.

I just tuned my scanner to Baylor too, and all I’m getting is Interops. Granted there’s less than 2 mins left in the 4th quarter but yeah… Maybe when the game is over and they’re directing traffic and crap we will hear more, and on the Baylor system?

Thank God I have another listener in Wacko. Yes, I love listening to the craziness. In fact, I was sitting here laughing at the things going on near the stadium. What a mess. I cannot imagine getting out into this horrible weather to watch a game during Thanksgiving week. Maybe this has happened before, but I am usually out of town.

Here is a web came that will keep you aware of IH35 bottlenecking near "Jerusalem on the Brazos Stadium." Live Webcam Interstate 35, Brazos River Texas, USA (webcamtaxi.com)

What radio are you using? I am using a 436HP. Keep me posted when and if you hear them talking on this system.

Thanks for responding.

Hey man,

Yes, “Wacko” is actually the truth. Lol

I have a Uniden436HP myself, running the DMR and NXDN upgrades. I don’t think I heard anything on that system, just InterOps like you said.

Couple of questions for you:

1. Do you ever hear anything on the BearCom (Central Texas NexEdge) or All Points Communication of Austin systems? My main favorite list I scan is one I called “McLennan Co. ALL” and it’s literally that— I right-clicked McLennan County in Sentinel/ProScan and appended the entire thing to my favorites group, but I NEVER hear anything from either of those two.

2. Do you know anything about Remote Scanner over IP or Web Server on ScannerPro? I am trying to broadcast what’s playing on my scanner (real time) to where I’ll be able to type an IP address in my phone or another PC outside my house and listen to my scanner broadcasting. I don’t know much about this, and it’s pretty frustrating to setup. I don’t wanna host it on Broadcastify or anything for the public, but more just so myself or a select group of friends here locally could listen in.

Question 1: I once attempted to load conventional frequencies into my radio to see if DMR was active for Belton High. I was curious about what radio system Belton High was using when I picked a brat up from high school. I saw a Belton Cop there, but he was using a radio I have seen on various Bell County officers.

Yes, I have monitored the Belton buses before. However, I would rather stab myself in the eyes than listen to brats on a bus. Hence, I removed this from my Favorites.

I also loaded BearCom and did not hear a peep. In retrospect, I should have programmed BearCom for San Antonio since I was recently near the River (fancy sewer) Walk. The next time I go down there, I will give it a go.

Question 2: Well, I have never jumped into that pool of water. I don't know anything about broadcasting with this radio. I am sure there are some folks to help you, but I don't know where to look here.

I have DMR, NXDN, and PV loaded into both of my 436HPs. I listen to Copperas Cover PV when I go to work in Morgan's Point.

If it works anything like setting up the SDS200 did, there was a nice program called Radio Feed out here for free that I use to stream the audio for remote listening. I definitely didn't want anything public and the setup instructions were easy enough to follow, though you do need to be able to port forward, and having a static IP from the ISP makes things much easier as far as not needing to do so much setup.

I was hoping that Tech would outplay Baylor... but alas I just have to be content that Bob is back at the helm in Norman.
