BC 296 Delay Question

I have read that the BC296 has very few delay options compared to the 796.

Is this true only through its keyboard or are software settings also limited? I would use Butel Arc250 and/or ScanCat Gold.

If the delay options are only limited in keyboard entry, I don't mind. If I lose the capability completely, that is a problem.

According to the official protocol spec, the 296 does not support the additional delay options that the 796 does. Total bummer! I thought it did.

Confirm/Set DELAY function ON/OFF.

Controller → Radio
① DL[\r] :Confirm DELAY function ON/OFF
② DLN[\r] :2seconds delay ON
DLF[\r] :Delay OFF
DLN ###[\r] :Optional delay ON (Not supported (Option))
### : delay timer setting
+1,+2,+4,+-,-2,-5,-10 NOTE) +- :INFINITE
<Example> DLN +2[\r]
Radio → Controller
① DL +2[\r] :Delay ON
DLF[\r] :Delay OFF
② OK[\r]
This command instructs the unit to turn or confirm DELAY function ON/OFF.
