I recently got into scanners and bought the bc125at. I’m looking to use it in my truck on the long drive to work and was wondering if I should upgrade the antenna for better range. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I don't see any info on your location, but be sure it is legal in a vehicle. You also didn't mention what you want to monitor and need to realize it cannot do any type of digital which is where most law enforcement and public service has gone or is headed. For analog and aircraft, it is a good scanner
