Hi,
I am desperate for a data cable for the 245XLT. I have tried to source one and been watching ebay with no luck. Has anyone identified the type of connector on the radio so I could buy one from digikey, mouser, etc. Also, does the cable have a voltage level converter in it? Some sites say yes, most say no. Maybe, the converter is in the radio itself.

Thanks,

You can get replacement cables from I think CEI. Go under scanner accessories. I didn't check the other places, but I bet you can find them elsewhere too.

I'd call them first to find out if they actually have them in stock. Their price is ridiculously high, but I guess they can charge what they like, if they realize the cable is as rare as hen's teeth

Really, most systems can be programmed without the cable - it's nowhere near as complicated as the DMA scanners can be...

I'm here a lot
After reading this post, I am now aware that my cable is more valuable than my BC245XLT
