Will this scanner work in Kewaunee County WI ??? without the card

It should work for you. With out the card you will pick up Wiscom.

Ya Tom it is wiscom, so dont waste the money on the card now?? I will try it first then, i bought it cheap, just thought i would ask you guys out here!! any tips on this scanner for me???

I am not all that familiar with that model, but isn't the card required to decode P25 signals? Since WISCOM is P25, wouldn't the card be needed? Just asking.

Yes i think it would be needed for wiscom but then will it work???

http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/BC250D That scanner will not work .That is 3600.BC296D - The RadioReference Wiki You need 9600 that will work .So you need a new scanner .

Sorry I should of said without the card you will not be able to hear Wiscom.
