I said SOMETIMES I charge it for more than 24 hours. Point is, there is still no affect on runtime, even after a long charge. I'll figure this out on my own though...not in the mood to argue with you over a couple of typed words.

That's fine you made that clear on your second post. I wasn't arguing with you, I was surprised when I read the manual the first time that it takes 14 hours to charge (seemed a little excessive to me).

Have you checked the voltage of the battery pack after a full charge? You may have a bad cell in it. If can post the voltage or PM me and I'll check mine after a full charge as mine seems to last a reasonably long time.

Standard charging time for a C/10 charge is about 16 hours. Evidently Uniden is charging at a slightly higher rate.
