BC340CRS - Worth keeping?

I have the BC340CRS scanner. It was recently given to me for free. I know this is an analog scanner and that local emergency services are all digital now. Is there any point in having this scanner? Is it worth anything to anyone or should I just trash it? I can't seem to pick up anything on it. I haven't tried it with my old walkie talkies.

It does have a weather radio, but I already have two that are more useful as they have an alarm.

Depends on where you are, what you might be interested in. The scanner covers the aircraft band, so you could use it to monitor any nearby airports or air traffic. Also covers the federal bands. If you are in the west near national forests or parks you might still find analog traffic. Lots of other analog targets that may or likely not be of interest. GMRS, Family Radio Service, businesses, etc.

Worst case scenario , it's still an AM-FM clock radio.
