Hello!
Dusting off the old topic of BC780XLT programming. . anyone have a source for the freeware 'Andy's Program' ? Every link I've found is broken. I liked this program from back in the day, and several computer generations later, I don't have a copy anymore. Still love the BC780XLT for aircraft/VHF monitoring.

Edit: (correcting my accidental incomplete initial post)

Edit2: Not wanting to go the pay-software route as it'd be single-radio use, am aware of ProScan (which is admittedly nice), but if you'd kindly limit replies pertaining to any leads on Andy's Program, I'd greatly appreciate it. I know it's out there somewhere. And, I'm good at getting old programs to work! Much appreciated!

county I think you'd be better off just getting ProScan, which is one of the only - if not the only - modern program that supports the 780. As that radio is so old, I sincerely doubt that any of the old programs are there anymore (or even work on the newer Win10 / 11 machines)

ProScan has a 30 day free trial and probably does more than most of those old programs anyway. Here is the site: ProScan

This is from my archives. It may not be the latest. Version 2.5 is an update only so you need to unzip and install 2.4 first.

IIRC Andy's program requires Excel to work.

Andy's was the first computer programming software for the BC780 scanners. I bought one of the first ones when they were introduced. Andy hadn't released his program, so I programmed it by hand. Took three days and my wrist took about a month to recover.

Good times, good times. :)
