I have some questions about the P25 adjustment mode on the 325P2. I can make it work and the screen seems simple enough to read and somewhat self explanatory. The directions for it's use is on pages 83 and 84 in the owner's manual.

The first thing I noticed. When you turn the scanner off the 'adjustment screen' goes away. It is not there when you turn the scanner back on. Does the scanner remember the settings that may have been set before the scanner was turned off or do you have to reset it each time you turn it on?

Next. Can you set different 'adjustment settings' for more than one system or does it only work for one at a time? I have at least three P25 trunking systems and would like to 'set' each one if possible. Can it be done?

The wording in the book sounds as if this is a 'manual' mode. But I am not too sure of that. Anyone know?

Thanks ahead for all your help.

I just found something else. When attempting to manually set the threshold (I think) it states to 'press FUNC then use the scroll knob' to adjust the level. However when I do that (use the scroll knob) all it does is change the scanner to a different system. Nothing else. Seems odd, or the directions are wrong. FYI

You'll have to start the hidden menu each time,

It, also, won't allow you to individually set each system p25 decode threshold per system, as per why Voyager said "scanner-wide,"

Now the direction are a carry over from its predecessors' BCD396t and BCD396Xt and are wrong for the BCD325P2, but on a side note they did bring it later to firmwares on BCD396t, 2 or 3yrs later, and then, also, it was allowed w/o hidden menu (So here's to hoping)

Also, of note, The BCD436HP does allow individual system p25 threshold settings and those "wrong direction" are how it's done.

OK Thanks. I guess I will continue playing with the settings and see what I can come up with. Doing anything I can to improve on a couple P25 systems that are giving me problems.
