Bcd396t Help

I just purchased the Uniden BCD396T mobile scanner, and I am now at my wits end trying to program the frequencys ID's. I go to the Motorola APCO system and store frequencys into the scanner, but I don't receive any transmissions. I have tried everything that the manual has suggested, but still no success. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

ok,first thing i wanna ask you is were did you purshace the radio?I got my radio programed for me at www.rrcom.com the guy only comes on saturday that does the programing but he does a good job it costs 30$ for programing but its worth it,if you dont know how to program(like me) is this your first radio?If you dont wanna pay he 30$ you can download the basic ARC sotware from threre website and you can download the USAD software from undiens website www.BuTel.com that is were your basic free arc software is.Your USAD software is at www.undien.com and go to scanners in the far right hand corner than you will see the 396 and than go to downloads
