I Know They Are Apco-25-- I Know They Are Not Trunked, How Do I Program The Freqs-- Should I Just Enter As If They Were Trunked?? I Am In Indiana And Will Be Going Through The Area Soon-- I Would Like To Have Everything Ready To Go, As Not To Have Programming Trouble Going Down The Road... Any Help On This Matter Would Be Great!

Enter as conventional. The radio will know it's P25. I have the KSP Posts that I listen to programmed as GRP quick keys. For example my KSP system is my number 3 quick key (S0: **3**) but the three posts that i listen to are GRP quick keys 1-3. I do this so when I am in a different area I can turn off the frequency group that I don't need to scan.

After reading the other posts, I think I have a pretty good idea about the system. Just one question....I see from the DB that some transmitters (specifically Post 11-London) have 2 freqs but no channel designator. Is 1 of them 'Dispatch' and the other "Alternate' ?? I'm assuming just put 'em all in & let 'em scan, right ??

Your are correct. Whoever updated the database didn't know which channel was dispatch, and which one was B. I put both of them in my radio.
