Can Charleston County Sheriffs Office be scanned using my scanner. I am new to scanning. I am new to scanning. When I purchased the scanner a friend of mine set it up & I was scanning CCSO. I noticed some time ago that I wasnt hearing any radio traffic on their channels so I updated the tgid's. Still Ive had no luck. The scanner display shows searching for control channel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Scanner Frequencies: Charleston County Public Safety Trunking System, Charleston, South Carolina suggests that you should be able to pick up what you want with your 396. The TGs and frequencies given may not be or may be completely up to date. Again, someone in the state forum should be able to help you.
