On Trunk Systems it is only displaying the TGID on the left side of the third line up from the bottom. The BCD996T shows the freq on the left and the TGID on the right. UPMAN, how about a FIX for the first update??
In Display Mode 1, the scanner displays the TGID name on the second line and the V-Ch frequency under
the second line.
In Display mode 2, the scanner displays the TGID name on the second line and TGID under the second
line.
In Display mode 3, the scanner displays the TGID name on the second line and trunking activity indicators
under the second line.
Having display mode 2 is a wonderful addition, but I'd love to hear why both freq and talkgroup could not have been included....only thing I can think of is a display size restriction? But, is that even relevant given that a PL tone can be 5 characters in length as well (i.e. 127.3). It would be nice to have both as we get with the 996T, but just having the different modes is a major plus.
You think Uniden would have learned from the 330/396 deficiency of not being able to display the alpha tag and frequency at the same time, for conventional channels. This still irks me.but I'd love to hear why both freq and talkgroup could not have been included

You can. Display Mode 2 shows the frequency and CTCSS/DCS/NAC in the 3rd line.
