BCD436HP/BCD536HP: BCD436hp manual programming

I am trying to manually program this scanner for a friend....I do not wish to use the zip code feature for it seems to scan databases I don't want...I usually work with radio shack radios but have been searching youtube for videos on how to program..it is a P25 phase1 system trying to put 1 county at a time in a favorite...any ideas?

You need to use SENTINEL for the x36 line
Or PROSCAN to do this.

And based upon what appears to be a novice level of experience with this scanner, I would start with "Add Channels on Range" option within Sentinel to create a favorites list from the full database and then prune it manually.

I do that for any area I will be traveling to. Faster to do that and delete anything unwanted vs adding systems one at a time.
