BCD436HP Mobile Antenna

Would like to get some advice on what brand and frequency mobile antenna best suited for picking up MSWIN P25 phase II only. I have other scanners for the old analog transmissions. Also if anyone knows of a good rubber duckie that works best just for MSWIN.

Is anyone using a BCD436HP with a mobile antenna that is picking up MSWIN well? The radio shack magnet mount I am using now doesn't seem to be any better than the stock duck.

I've got one that is doing great. It came from ham radio outlet. I'll look tomorrow and see if I can get a model #. I the the RS one also. It's sucks for the new stuff. I will also tell you that when I program my 436 to pick up just rankin co stuff it doesn't pick up much. If you tell it so scan by zip code it does better. I think some of the controll channels are messed up in my local stuff.

I can't find a make or brand on it. It's a magnetic whip about 24in tall. It is a for 800 to 900 trunk systems. It came from a ham radio store

I picked up a Amazon.com: Larsen Tri Band VHF UHF 800 MHz Motorola Style Antenna: Cell Phones & Accessories And it looks like it's going to do great. I'll get back in a day or to with results.
