BCD536 sounds "digital"

I have BCD536 up and running on the new 700mhz phase 2 system in Berks County Pa. Most transmissions sound ok, but quite a few sound broken, what I would call digital. My question is there a setting to tweak on the radio to improve this or is this the actual way it's being broadcast? Thanks for any help. Charlie

If I read it right Berks Co is Simulcast. They can be a real bear to listen to. In my area there is one that the better signal you have the worse it sounds. Might not be your problem though. You will find more on the Pa. forums
