BCD436HP/BCD536HP: BCD536HP P25 Frequency Display

Is it possible to show control channels and voice frequencies while scanning or listening to multi P25 sites on a system??
For example CCES in Pa.

BCDx36 scanners cant display trunked freqs while scanning but SDSx00 can.

If you have @ProScan or ARC536Pro, almost positive the virtual display will display that info.

My SDS100 does, usually in one of the smaller lines in the advanced display mode.

Any way that Uniden could add this capability to the X36HP units through firmware? Of course, there might not be sufficient demand for this feature for them to move on it.

That was discussed by a lot of people in 2015 in the forum. Same thing.

Also, the 536 and 436 display the name of the trunking site being received, just not the frequency. The scanner decodes the controller frequency for each site and displays the name. That should be enough to know what site you are listening to. The voice frequency changes at the specific site depending on loading at the particular site with each transmission.

The Arc536 pro screen/log does show the trunked frequencies, including the 436/536. They are just not displayed on the scanners screen.

Ability is already there as the info shows on 3rd party software. They need to direct it to some unused section on the display.

You're right. I forgot about that screen. I always use View-Display Only Sizeable. Freq is not displayed on that one
