Maybe just for a few minutes at Amazon since they seem to change prices minute to minute, but anyone interested at $371….

If I was considering a bcd260, for a few more $ you get quite a bit more..normally I would not buy a scanner at Amazon, but this is quite good.

Not really a fair comparison.

The BCD260 is limited to conventional channels only (analog, plus DMR and NXDN)... no trunking or P25 digital.

The BCD996p2 is a full-featured scanner, including trunking, but DMR and/or NXDN are extra-cost upgrades (if desired). On the negative side, the "996" may not do well with digital simulcast systems.

Now it's up to $456.39. Thanks for that head's up, I grabbed 2 early this morning at the $371 price, should be here Saturday.
