BCD996P2 Program software

Good evening, I currently have and have been using the FreeScan software for several years to program the Uniden/Bearcat radios but I have new 996P2 model and I need to get software that will work on those Free would be nice?
Any suggestions?

Freescan works on that scanner. I use it on mine.

Freescan just does not work with the 996p2 for NXDN.
On the other hand PROSCAN works for the 996p2 P25, DMR and NXDN plus other perks for $50.00

I have downloaded the new drivers for the programming cable that came with the BCD996P2 successfully but my Freescan software says in a pop up screen when I try to upload from the radio that it does not support the BCD996P2? I just looked on the radio Reference site and the version I have is actually newer than that one.. I am open for suggestions at this point??

did you download the driver for the 996p2 because it uses a special one.

proscan is the way to go for programming software.

I am using Freescan 2.18 Beta 6 to program my 325P2.

What version is it that you have?
