BCD396XT/BCD996XT: BCD996XT Audio AGC

I pulled my old 996XT out of mothballs a few days ago and am playing with it, getting it programmed and set up. Something that just occurred to me is how different agencies/users have varying P25 audio levels. If I recall correctly, isn't there an adjustment for the P25 AGC to level things out? Would someone please remind me of how to adjust and set that?

Some transmissions are at a nice volume level. Some are absurdly loud.

MENU > Program System > Scroll to the system > Press E > Scroll to Edit Sys Option > Press E > Scroll to Set Audio AGC > Press E > Toggle Analog and Digital on and off by Pressing E > Press SCAN to exit. If a particular talkgroup is loud or soft all of the time, you can adjust the Volume Offset on each talkgroup. Let me know if you would like instructions how to do that.

Good luck. The AGC setting on Uniden scanners is totally useless on both digital and analog.
