When a conventional channel/frequency is set to "Analog Only" and tone set to "Search", will the scanner still pass un-decoded digital transmissions? Or will the scanner detect the digital audio and resume scanning?

I believe that when the scanner is set as you describe, it will stop on a digital channel but won't attempt to decode the audio. You will hear the digital signal as a buzz or noise. Have you tried reading the manual, it might not say what the results would be but it wouldn't hurt to look.
