DaveH since you're in the Ottawa area, if you have some addition to make in the Quebec DB for the "Outaouais" area and wish to share them, throw them at me ! I know the area pretty much, stayed in Gatineau for 10 years.

Slypx, yes I have been finding/submitting trunked systems to the
Quebec RR database for several years; virtually all of the commercial
systems in Gatineau, plus a few in Rigaud/Tremblant, and
a number of Hydro-Quebec (4e2a) sites (all frequencies confirmed
before submission, even though they are listed in TAFL). This in
addition to ones in eastern Ontario.

Back to the OP's question: Nothing is preprogrammed for our bretheren in the 51st state. However, you can assign any site or system to one of the provinces and it will be enabled to scan if you select that province. This basically gives you the ability to add your own BearTracker functionality in areas where coverage is poor or nonexistant in the factory load.
