BCT15 System Reset

Just ordered a BCT15 to use as a base station, and won't be needing the Bear Tracker feature. Will resetting the system (2-9-power on) dump all the pre-programmed information freeing the entire memory? The other option appears to be to delete the systems one by one, but that could be tedious...

NO that will only dump the Freq. programed in at the factory. The Bear Tracker Freq. for each State cannot be Delited. But you can turn the Bear Tracker feature off by Hitting the
POL button and the HP button untill the PL DT HP BT is no longer showing. If you do this before you program other Freq. . The Scanner will show on the Display Nothing to scan.
I have had mine for a few days now and starting to understand it a little better.

to do a factory reset hold down 2,9,hold/resume
and power it on
