BCT15X: BCT15X Programming Quetions???

Good Morning Everyone, Just received my new bct15x on Tuesday. Love it so far, I did all my homework and was ready to program it when I received it. Programming was a snap, FreeScan and A programming cable made my life much easier. I Have a few Questions that I can't seem to find answers too.

Questions

1. How to scroll through the menu listen to Air band For Example, Then scroll and go back to my trunked systems and not have the scanner scan the air band and trunking systems at the same time? (I have set SQK's) (I don't want to have to lock out all my Presets If Possible)

2.Can I attach Close call to a TGID or a trunking system?

3.Does Fire tone out work with trunked systems and If so how do I program that?

4. Can I run DSD through my Remote connection or front end connection to the computer?

5. I have Programmed emergency alerts through FreeScan but they are not working, have set volume and tone. I Monitor A EDAC system Does that have anything to do with it??

6. Is there any way to Get the banks to show while scanning Trunked systems? ( Without Having to put the hold function on)

I Know It's a lot of questions but this are the only things that are stumping me.. I Love the Scanner and Can't thank everyone enough that's on here for all you info.

No, You have to install a Disc Tap to be able to use DSD+.

OK, Just wanted to make sure. Would be awesome if we could through. I Have a BCT8 I Use in my car that would be a good candidate for that Project.

1. If you frequently scan air bands, then I'd assign that to one of the 3 search keys. Press F+1 (while holding on a channel) to turn SRCH 1 on/off. SQKs can be used in combination with this to turn on/off scanning of trunked/conventional scan systems.

2. No. Close Call hits are on frequencies, not talk groups.

3. No. Fire tone-out has the same functionality as a Minitor type pager. Two tones on a conventional frequency.

5. Are you sure the system is using trunked signaling to flag an emergency status transmission?

6. What banks? This scanner has no banks.

UPman thank you for the input. The emregency tone comes through a TGID when a deputy needs emergency traffic on his TGID

And the (banks) are the group keys maybe? It's the bottom line when the hold function is locked. Sorry I'm use to talking about my BCT8
