I programmed it and just got (3:20 PM) someone calling central, a woman responded, and the person who called said he was enroute to a street in Barnegat (didn't get the exact name) and central responded with what sounded like she had the work order for it, whatever it was. I came up with a PL 107.2. The same guy just called central again (3:29) and said he was arriving at the house. Same PL. That's all I've gotten.

I am not certain but I think that may be "Point Bay Fuel" Company.

It's not licensed to them (not saying they're not using it). They have two licenses:
Point Bay Fuel
11 Irons Street
Toms River, New Jersey
KMG289 - 451.975 Repeater
WPJV984 - 477.5625 Repeater

A little while ago I heard central send someone to an address in Manahawkin and she told the person to "put it on a Manahawkin Amoco ticket".

OK - guess your correct. I know point bay used 451.something but was not sure.

Looked up the local licensee - see below. Looks like it actually may be an LTR
system or perhaps some repeaters for hire so to speak.

I saw that fineshot. I think it may be a towing company. Just a hunch. I caught the tail end of a transmission from central dispatch and she told someone "the vehicle is a Chevy Blazer".

It's definitely not a Police/Fire/EMS agency. I don't know of any agency in Ocean County that refers to dispatch as "Central."

That's Richard Coffman and there is a transmitter site in Beachwood at the corner of Railroad and Mizzen 39-55-44.2 N, 074-11-09.5 W.

It's definitely a towing company, but I don' know who. I just heard two guys talking about a job they had in Grone's and Price Rite's area and that they got to the job before Price Rite did and Price Rite had a problem with it.

I picked up PLs for a couple of the other frequencies,461.325 PL 107.2 voice traffic was "at Fire Stone to look at tires",452.750 PL 107.2 CWID was heard. Was listening before on 451.7000 and heard a couple of women talking about a pick up at 2:00 so i'm thinking it may be a bus company.i also heard a couple of guys talking about going to a warehouse.Just picked up another PL of 107.2 on 462.050,missed the voice traffic.

LTR systems don't use PLs. LTR is a type of trunking, accomplished by subaudible data instead of a dedicated control channel like many other types of trunking.

I think you meant an SMR system, which is a pretty generic term in that it can use any type of trunking or conventional system for channel management.

It wouldn't be part of that system anyway, The OC system has 500mhz channels
