One would think so yes, but some people like to monitor everything from point A to point B (figuratively speaking). I have more narrow monitoring targets as I'm easily confused by too much activity! :lol:
KMA log periodic are built very rugged, work well and cost a lot less than Create. I have the 41-1300MHz and 88-1300MHz versions and am very happy with them. See: http://www.kmaantennas.com/vhf_uhf.htm

Good idea, and I agree, but then your feedline costs go up for multiple runs too. I guess that and mast space are the only two real drawbacks. Individual range specific beams weigh less, less wind load, etc. which is better for mast load. Just that stinking feedline cost. :wink:
