Does anyone know of a good beam antenna 50-1200 mhz????
I am no expert but I really think that any beam will cover that much range.GrayWolfSA58 said:Does anyone know of a good beam antenna 50-1200 mhz????
Wow, at $400.00 a pop wouldn't it be cheaper and better to get beams that are band specific?.KT4HX said:I would say the Create LP-5130-1N Log Periodic, which covers 50-1300. It is sold by various distributors, but this link will take you to Grove's page. It runs about $400 as you.

Good idea, and I agree, but then your feedline costs go up for multiple runs too. I guess that and mast space are the only two real drawbacks. Individual range specific beams weigh less, less wind load, etc. which is better for mast load. Just that stinking feedline cost. :wink:tonsoffun said:Wow, at $400.00 a pop wouldn't it be cheaper and better to get beams that are band specific?.
