Will a bent antenna will cause problems on transmitting out and receiving?
Think of Andy Taylor and Barney Fife with their quarter wave whips on the squad cars. For Mayberry I'm guessing 39 MHz, could be 45 but I think 39 MHz. Swinging all over the place. Sometimes clamped down.
Unless it's way more than a 90° Bend and we're talking about an antenna that's pretty much destroyed I don't see where it makes all that much difference on 10 m.
Water damaged coax, poor solder joints, corrosion, loose connections.. yes.
