Bergen County Security

I saw a Bergen County Security pick-up truck come to one of the Bergen County Parks to clear out the parking lot and the people for the night. I was wondering if they use radios? If so, what freqs? Does anyone know? Thank You for any assistance.

They are dispatched by the Bergen County Police Department on one of the UHF T-Band frequencies. Try 477.2875, PL 156.7.

Okay thanks man, I always see them in this County Park in my town and I never even thought about them using radios.

Also try 154.0550 that was labelled "Golf Courses" but I have a feeling it might also be used for the county parks!

then what does the security units use at the BCC college in Paramus use ? and also Police use there? I see an 800 channel athe college but I sometimes hear them on 477.2875 but some on 470.1625 then all Police on 477.1625 can someone clarify

BCC Security uses their licensed 800MHz frequency. The Bergen County Police on duty at the College use 447.1625 or 477.2875.

OK BCC has it's own security independent from the county police. They are on 857.7125 Dpl of 025. The county polic e all called when there is a major incident like an ambulance is needed or a fire
