Berks has been revamping their dispatch system. On July 1st they are planning to switch to their new frequency for dispatch. This is like the third date that was set so I am not holding my breath just yet. The new dispatch freq is 151.220. Fire EMS and Police will be dispatched on this freq and all units will be using the old freq 155.295 to respond on. Fire will still be using low band for fire grounds all though some fire departments have started to use their own private radio systems.

Yeah they are using both right now. They are telling us now that it will be only dispatched on the new by the 9th. However they have told us this before so we will see if it happens this time.

It seemed something was going on the other night...they announced it over several channels, and then I noticed several non-typical frequencies being used (although that might have been related to Reading's rebanding)...

I am hearing them better now that I redid the channels...but they are using the rebanded channels posted in the RR Database.
