Bermuda Unknown Data

Recorded this last week in Bermuda. I posted about this earlier last year but was able to get a recording of it on this visit.

Can anyone ID? Sounds to me like a data exchange?

460.100 is the frequency.

Any Update?

I know this is an old thread. I recently started a search again for this on a few radio sound websites, no hits.

I believe it may be a data exchange of sorts to due to the "back and forth" sound it makes.

I agree - It sounds like a data exchange. I might be incorrect, but I do not believe so.

The sound kind of reminds me of the old 1990's "dial up" modems.

The sound is not constant like a digital or encrypted voice transmission.

The sound is interrupted in intervals......and there is no specific timing, or regular timing in the intervals.

My bet is on a data transmission.
