Wondering if anyone knows a control channel for the Broken Arrow Communications Network Bixby site? I have the four known frequencies plugged in but when I manually tune to Bixby Police it tries to find a control channel.

Are you still using 851.325, 851.850, and 852.375 as freqs? I'm guessing I'm out of range is why I'm not picking it up.

Yes. I'm between BA and Coweta with marginal / medium signal.

Right now I'm at 116th and Elm (Peoria) in Jenks, but I'm in a bit of a hole. It seems I can pick up the Bixby channels on the CityPlex site, but for some reason my scanner (BCD996P2) doesn't appear to be picking them up unless I have them pulled up on my work radio (Harris M7300). I know this system will stop communicating with the radios (portable or mobile) if there is no traffic for a while, but I wouldn't think this would affect a scanner, especially if there is traffic on that channel.

I just recently put this scanner in and am still tweaking it. I've been working on getting Bixby working tonight. Maybe I'm just in the middle of their shift change. I have it held on Bixby PD on the CityPlex site. Guess I'll wait a bit and see.

UPDATE: Okay, it seems since there are no radios listening on the CityPlex site it won't broadcast from there. I remember we had this issue scanning the fire department with our handhelds and not hearing their traffic unless they were on a portable. Once I turn one of my work radios over to Bixby PD, it starts broadcasting and the scanner will pick it up. Ugh, stupid efficiency. I guess I'm just going to have to find a better antenna to hit the Bixby site.
