Black Flag 2023

Wow very busy scanner activity this past week on the NTTR. There was a flight of four B-2's and many many others. Black Flag is like a Red Flag only for test platforms and radar testbeds etc. Some UAV's were in play and satcom was used. Some unknown callsigns were used I'm still researching them. It was a great week to have a scanner in Nevada!!!!

Night time ops, no possible way to take pictures of this one. The B-2’s were up 35-38 thousand feet.

That is freaking cool! My most favorite bomber. You're looking at around 16 Billion tax payer dollars.... LOL!

If my math is right, each B-2 can carry sixteen B83 nuclear bombs. Each B83 is capable of detonating a 1.2 megaton blast for a total yield of 19.2 megatons.

You're looking at 307.2 megatons of nuke capability in that photo alone. There are 13 more B-2s...
