Anyone know anything about TRS for Bladen County? I saw they have some listings for 800MHz, Found these freqs on another page:

Bladen County
856.7375 857.7375 858.7375 859.7375 860.7375

Dont rmember hearing a CTL on any of these freqs last summer when at White Lake.

The license - WPHS879 - expired in June of 2001, and was deleted that October.

It appears that no one has ever snatched those frequencies up, though. Several could be successfully coordinated. New Bern is the closest trunked system using the same frequencies in N.C., and Charleston is the closest user in S.C.

The freqs, or at least some of them MAY have been picked up by the state, and even though I work for the state, I cannot confirm that at this time, so take it with a grain of salt for the time being. Just as Burlington was added to the GSO system, Bladen may be added to another wider area system already in existence/buildout (and going digital in the relatively near future) instead of following the original individual licensing plan for an analog system, hence the floating uncertainty of their status at this time. I can only speculate from snips and bits of info that this is what's happening since the whole plan seems to have been rewritten statewide over the past year or so due to technology and good ol' federal money pursuits.
