I have not monitored the BLM California Desert District in ages. Can anyone tell me what the callsign or designator is for their dispatch? As in, "Porterville" dispatches for the Central District, what should I be listening for for the Desert District? TIA.

Did anyone hear any traffic related to the BLM Officer shooting in JNP? RSO is lead in the investigation.

Another tid-bit for your monitoring: They normally use "CDD Admin" for everything in SoCal (fires and admin use). Their "CDD Fire Net" was never built out.
It will be expanded finally this coming year but they say they probably won't officially use it much until fire season 2019.
I'd suggest scanning both, but expect most traffic on Admin net.
