Blount County Sheriff gone encrypted?

Blount County municipal police departments have been using an encrypted P25 channel for a long time but the Sheriff has alway used a conventional frequency. However, over the last few days I’ve not been able to hear any radio traffic on the Sheriff conventional frequency. Does anyone know if they have gone over to the encrypted P25 system as well?

Blount County Sheriff Moving To Full Encryption?

The Past few months I have noticed the Blount County sheriff have been using almost 100% Encryption except the dispatchers. I guess they are following suit like the rest of the state to 100% E. But like I have said before guess the the whole TACN system will be E sooner then Later.
