Bluetooth Speakers for ICOM Radio

Greetings All,

I would like to use an external Bluetooth speaker with my ICOM radios (IC-R30 & IC-705).

I currently have an Anker Soundcore that does NOT seem to work with either of these radios.
The speakers will pair with both radios, but no audio gets transferred.
I have a headset (Prtukyt 6S) that functions, so I'm certain that the ICOM's Bluetooth is OK.

Can someone recommend a reasonably priced Bluetooth speaker that the ICOMs can communicate with?

This sounds like an excellent idea because the audio output from the built-in speaker, although crisp, is quite low volume.

I don't see the 705 having BT, what BT transmitter were you using with that?

I’m a bit late here, but it does have built in Bluetooth. I’ve used mine with Apple AirPods and I also bought one of those Pryme RSMs. I will say the Bluetooth range is poor on the 705. Regardless of the Bluetooth device I use, I can’t get more than about 6 feet from the radio without the rx audio breaking up.
