I'd love to put this system in my Pro-2055 and also into ScanCAT lite.

I'm in Lake City / Maple Leaf area of Seattle and can only hear the one Control Ch very well.

I still need a diag with better antennas than what I have.

Like I have said in the past I would like to get Boeing Everett up and running and make some changes because what's in the database here is not right, I am about 30 miles north of Everett and should be able to receive it as I can get Everett Police just fine and Boeing wide OK from time to time.

Today I stopped off by the Lazy-B Ranch and did not hear the old system. UniTrunker only found 2502-02 and 2502-16. The only type 1 calls I picked up on the PSR-500 were from Kitsap county.

So It looks like 2502 site 16 is the Everett plant showing CCs of 852.4125 and 851.6625. Most of the channels of the old system are contained in this new site. The site is really packed with only 9 channels.;;[Zone 16]

Name = "Everett Plant"
Connect Tone = 105.88

Neighbour = 2 Wide Area
Neighbour = 10

; 9 channels

I agree. I think the seperate site for the Everett plant needs to go away. It can't be moved under Wide Area since the listed TGs are not valid type IIs. Just create a site 16 under 2502 and start over with the TGs.

Here is my thoughts on this for the time being they will stay separated the connect tones are not the same and system IDs are different I will change the system type and get down to Everett and run unitrunker and see what I get. it would be of great help here if everyone would post what they they have here about Boeing Everett and I will see that it gets added to the database here.

Thanks,

BOEING has 2 trunk systems, one for Everett, and one for plant wide stuff I have listen to both of them. You can scrap the old talk groups. they are no longer valid...

There is now one smartzone system across Puget Sound (2502). The wide "site" rarely carries local traffic, you need each site programmed.

Talkgroups continuously evolve as airplane programs come and go, (and managers reorganize) - but it's a single list across the system.

So what's the best way to set it up?

On the DB page here, there are 9 different "Sites" that all have their own, (sometimes 2) control channels.

Should the CC's of all sites just be entered right next to each other? That seems counterintuitive.

No on that last part, because your 97 will only lock onto the lowest # you entered. It depends on 1) what you want to listen to and 2) what you're in range of. You won't be able to hear the Enumclaw site, so that's out.
The reason some sites have more than one control channel is that sometimes they change.

Per the WIKI, you should be able to program 1 bank with all sites if you put a blank between each site. This tells the scanner to try each site for an active CC. x=bank number. You can put active FM in place of the blank chan as long as it breaks up the contigous MO listings

x00 site 1 CC
x01 site 1 Alt CC
x02 blank ( Func Clr)
x03 site 2 CC
x04 site 2 Alt CC
x05 Blank
...

bad news

So I emailed one of the head guys for Boeing radio services and his reply today was that their next upgrade would be digital and most likely encrypted. I did not get a time frame for this.

He also would not provide me details of the talk groups since it is proprietary. He said it was easy enough to find just by scanning, which is mostly true.

He was very nice in his email. I didn't want to come across that he was being a jerk or anything.

Update.... After talking to the higher ups here I will move the Everett Plant system to the Boeing wide system, the Ct on the main page will show unknown, you can find the CT when you click on site info.
