I was curious as to whether or not you can hear anything from Oregon in the Treasure valley? Would the SDS100 pull any Oregon comms in? I have noticed it loads Oregon as well as Idaho systems.

The SDS 100 with the stock antenna would be marginal I think. It might receive the Ontario area vhf.

Did you end up trying it at all? I noticed on the VHF propagation map we sometimes get some mild tropospheric ducting here

I was thinking about trunked digital systems/statewide systems when i posted this. Not UHF/VHF conventional.
