There have been a lot of incidents where people are releasing animals held captive in zoos lately. Probably some group like Pita.

and they don't think ahead.
if an animal spends his life in a zoo, it is not seen as food.
the folks there usually charge enough to feed the animals.
so if you take that away, they then get sold to ummm other places.
