Is anybody able to pick up border patrol frequencies in their area.Just curious.

Yup - sometime CLR, sometimes ENC - YMMV
Keep in mind, they can/do use wide area (vote scan) nets and additionally can select single repeaters vs going out over the wide-area
Have you tried searching 162-174 in your area ??
No I haven’t. I know I looked on radio reference but they only have custom

Most of those RR entries are actually OBP not Customs or ICE
but you are the only one who will be able to tell if "you" can hear or not, so search 162-174
