Rumor is it got pushed off, again - when it happens, it will happen and we will find out by OTA monitoring

If it happens, it will likely be after next year's Mayoral election in Boston. Whether they go to P25 clear in the interim is a different matter entirely.

Once elected, about the only way a Mayor in Boston leaves office is by resigning or dying. John Collins declined to run for re election, Kevin White resigned, Ray Flynn resigned to become an ambassador, Tom Menino didn't run for re election because he had a terminal disease, Marty Walsh resigned to become Sec. of Labor.

Kevin White allegedly gave it up in exchange for not being indicted, but there was never any proof of that.
